Welcome to Thankful Thursday! Every Thursday we focus on gratitude on our website and social media sites.
How many of us live our lives being grateful for the many blessings we have? How many times a day do we say ‘thank you’?
What would your day look like if you lived your life as if everything was a gift to you? How would you start the day if the first thing you did was to be thankful for the gift of life?
Happy Thursday Divas! This is my favorite day of the week within the Divas With A Purpose community because it’s dedicated to all things gratitude!
It’s been a while since I’ve done a post on the blog, but we celebrate Thankful Thursday every week on Divas With A Purpose.
If you’re a part of the Facebook community, I invite you to jump over our Thankful Thursday event and share what you’re thankful for this week!
After Thanksgiving, once Black Friday, Cyber Monday and the holiday shopping season is in full swing – somehow showing gratitude during the holidays can seem to get lost in the shuffle. We become focused on crossing everyone off of our list, the newest and hottest gadgets, holiday travel, often everything but the true reason for the season.
Happy November, Divas!
This is going to be a super busy month on Divas With A Purpose. There are tons of great things in store for us this month and I cannot wait to share them with you.
As many of you know, gratitude is a resounding theme here on Divas With A Purpose. Each Thursday, we celebrate Thankful Thursday here on the blog and on Facebook.
Reading with my kids is one of my favorite activities. I love that they share my passion for the written word and being able to snuggle up with them and share a good book is priceless. Today I’m sharing 3 books about gratitude for kids. It is no secret around here that I believe it is important to instill the practice of gratitude and giving back in our children at an early age.
Gratitude is a resounding theme here on Divas With A Purpose. I can honestly say it is not always easy to keep an attitude of gratitude. It is easy during times of struggle to slip into a rut of taking things for granted.
When those moments hit you, ask yourself:
What touched me today?
Who or what inspired me today?
What made me smile today?
Gratitude can change your life. Having a positive attitude and being thankful even the smallest things in our lives can lead to a trickle effect of health, social, mental and emotional benefits. I recently came across an article discussing the different benefits of gratitude in our daily lives – both personal AND professional.
Gratitude shapes our personalities
I have made a conscious effort for the past three years or so to focus on gratitude.
