Gratitude is a resounding theme here on Divas With A Purpose. I can honestly say it is not always easy to keep an attitude of gratitude. It is easy during times of struggle to slip into a rut of taking things for granted.
When those moments hit you, ask yourself:
What touched me today?
Who or what inspired me today?
What made me smile today?
What’s the best thing that happened today?

Keeping a daily gratitude journal and simply answering these 4 questions can do wonders with changing your perspective. When those rough times hit, look back over your previous responses for inspiration and motivation.
Each Thursday on Divas With A Purpose, we pause to reflect on what we’re thankful for. Gratitude is a huge part of my life. A few years ago I made a conscious decision to reflect more on what I had versus what I did not have – since then I’ve seen a considerable positive change in my attitude and demeanor even in stressful situations.
