Utilize tools to help you along the way
You don’t have to go at it alone! Having useful tools or apps handy can make your day run a lot smoother! This might be a coffee pot that starts coffee at a set time or an app that sends you reminders.
Make a list the night before
Before you go to bed at night, create a to-do list for the following day. After you’ve finished making your list, put a star next to the five most important things that you need to get done. This will help you prioritize in the morning.
Don’t overbook yourself
One of the reasons we may feel like we didn’t get as much done as we could is because we overbook and overwork ourselves. We aren’t Wonder Woman and we shouldn’t strive to be either! Reduce the number of tasks you need to get done each day and you will have more happiness in your life and less stress.
Create healthy habits that will help you be successful
If you want to start running in the morning, keep a pair of running shoes by the bed or even lay out of your workout gear the night before. By creating habits that encourage you to be successful, you will make sure you stick with it.

Stay on task
It can be tempting to step away for a break every few minutes or be distracted. Every time you get distracted, you are costing yourself the precious time that could be spent doing your work. Whenever possible, try to stay on task until the task is complete. Then take a break if you need to.
Unplug whenever you need to get something done
If your phone is next to you, you will be tempted to reach for it. Unplug when you need to get something done, and you’ll find you will work much quicker!
