Good Morning Divas! It’s been almost a week! There’s been a lot going on and around my household and Mommy finally caught some variation of what the kids had been passing around for the last month or so. And it took me DOWN!!!
<—– That doesn’t even begin to touch on how I felt and looked, but it’s a start. I’m guilty of not taking care of myself as well as I should have – with a husband, 3 kids, a full-time job and the many projects I have going on I often put myself at the bottom (okay, below the bottom) of the list. I know, I know, I know – I need to do better.
My diet, exercise regimen, water intake, stress levels, ugh! This is definitely going to be a process! However, I know I need to do better and am committed to tackling the different areas of my health regimen that need improvement. I’ve got 3 little people depending on me to be here for a very long time. Within the past month, I’ve heard of at least 5 people I personally know within a 5 year range of me that have passed away unexpectedly. Definitely an eye opener. I’m not saying I’m about to jump up and run a marathon (gotta pace myself!) but I will make a conscious effort to make healthier choices and to take care of myself, too.
Little things like eating breakfast and healthy snacks throughout the day that I’ve gotten away from will make a huge difference in the long run. I participated in Body Systems Fit Club 30 Day Fitness Challenge and other than this past week that I’ve been sick, I felt a huge difference. I’m going to recommit to the challenge from start to finish since I didn’t get a chance to truly see it through – and, of course, I’ll be providing you with updates along the way. Gotta love accountability, right?
