Exercising as a family is definitely something we need to work on. I’ll be honest, Divas, many of our days are packed with indoor activities that include video games, television and the Internet. One of our 2015 goals as a family is to become more active and improve our overall health.
Decluttering your physical space can have an amazingly uplifting effect on your mood. Feng Shui experts claim that buildings and furniture store the memories of events in the form of energy, and that by decluttering you can clear the energy of historic traumatic events. Whether or not you put any store in that kind of theory, nobody who has ever decluttered a space could deny the positive benefits of increasing the physical space in their environment.
There are many important things in life. Learning, growing, loving, and exploring are all things that each person should take time for. Celebration is another thing that everyone should take time for. Celebration adds an excitement and a lot of fun to life.

Financial literacy is a passion of mine. I shared in a recent post why I prepare for rainy days while enjoying my sunny days and the security and happiness of my family is a large factor. Budgeting as a family isn’t always fun or easy to do, but it does help to get everyone on the same page and create an awareness of short and long-term goals for your family.
Accident prevention. What a fun topic to kick off my Making A Happy Home From A to Z for April, right? Well, in our household this is always a hot topic. With three very lively and active kiddos, it seems like I’m almost always watching an accident ready to happen. I truly believe my 7 year old is incapable of walking – he runs, skips, flips, jumps and catapults everywhere. His 3 year old little sister is his shadow and is often right behind him and taking it up a notch.
