#ThankfulThursday – The Small Stuff Adds Up

Thankful Thursday

Happy Thursday!!! I hope you’ve all had a fantastic week! I want to welcome you to Week 2 of our Thankful Thursday link-up! This is an opportunity to stop and reflect on what you have to be thankful for from the past week. Often times we get caught up in the hustle and bustle of life and don’t take the time to really appreciate the smaller, day-to-day blessings that are around us.

Thankful Thursday

I’m trying something new this week and am, also, connecting Thankful Thursday with the Divas With A Purpose Facebook page. Feel free to pop over there and converse with other members of the DWP Community.

This week I’ve been fighting a bug and yesterday it finally hit me and I was super run down. I’m super thankful for my husband and kids who let me sleep it off when I got home from work. That was the best 11 hours of sleep I’ve gotten in eons. I’m not even worried about the work and tasks I had planned for last night. I’m learning and embracing that taking care of me has to take a priority.

Now, it’s your turn! What’s one thing you’re thankful for from the past week? It doesn’t matter how small or insignificant it may seem, giving thanks is about recognizing and realizing that it all matters. No matter what you’re going through or experiencing, something or someone has crossed your path to bring some joy.

Once you’ve commented with at least one thing you’re thankful for, don’t forget to link-up your Thankful Thursday post below and connect with others to support, motivate, encourage and celebrate!

Bloggers, if you host a weekly link-up, feel free to head over here and submit your links to our Bloggers Connect page!

I’m so glad you were able to rest. I hope you’re feeling much better.

I’m grateful for a diagnosis for my daughter and access to good medical care.

Happy Sharefest. I hope you have a great weekend.

I’m thankful for my the opportunity to see my children grow and develop their own personalities. Some days are rough with tantrums and meltdowns but I forget about all of that when they give me smiles, hugs, and kisses.

So true Ayeshia!!! My 15 month old daughter is getting into the “special” stage and it’s great to see her personality develop and watch her interact more with her brothers. I have to remember to keep those sweet moments in mind when the tantrums try to take over.
Thanks for sharing and stopping through!

After having been stuck in a late Spring Vermont snow… I am so thankful for the sounds of spring: robins, peepers, and children playing in the mud.

I’m also thankful for Spring Break. This year, I have the opportunity to take a vacation to the mountains with my family (it will be about 20 of us altogether), so I am very excited about that!

Hey Michelle! So glad you’re feeling better! Thanks for the link-up. What I’m thankful for this week? It’s not small though, but I’d have to say the Resurrection of our Lord Jesus the Christ!!

Glad to feel you’re feeling better and that you’re putting yourself first sometimes. It’s hard! I’m thankful that we’ll be on Spring Break soon. I hope that I can let myself relax so that I can really, really enjoy the time with my kids. Happy Thankful Thursday! Have a wonderful weekend. 🙂

Glad to “hear”, not “feel”. Ha! I guess I’m “feeling” your healing. 😉

Today I’m thankful for it being the end of the working week because I want to spend quality time with my lovely and deserving family all weekend without the need of anything else!
