I received a coupon for a free Annie’s frozen entree courtesy of Influenster.  No other financial compensation was received and, as always, all opinions shared are 100% mine.

Recently, my oldest son has taken great interest in helping with dinner. There are even a few easy dishes he can make from scratch using recipes.  I try to use his time in the kitchen to help with his math skills (doubling recipes or cutting them in half).

Recently, our family was given the opportunity to try out a product from Annie’s frozen entree line. My boys (and I) were excited to try their Classic Macaroni and Cheese and it was a perfect opportunity for my son to be in charge of dinner.

I like Annie’s Homegrown products because:

  • No artificial flavors
  • No synthetic perservatives
  • No GMOs
  • No growth hormones
  • No synthetic colors
  • Is affordable (head to their Facebook page for a $2 coupon)

My kids love Annie’s because it tastes great! It does not take much to make them happy!

My son was easily able to follow the cooking instructions and have the beginnings of a scrumptious meal for him and his siblings. It was great to have him help with dinner and include products that were tasty, healthy and affordable. He simply added chicken nuggets, steamed vegetables and, viola!, dinner courtesy of the tween was completed.

It was something simple enough to make from start to finish and all three of my children (tween, kindergartner and toddler) would eat all of its ingredients.

What easy to fix meals do your tweens make or assist in making for your family?

I received these products complimentary from Influenster for testing purposes.
