Go Get Your Gratitude OnHappy Thursday Divas! This is my favorite day of the week within the Divas With A Purpose community because it’s dedicated to all things gratitude!

It’s been a while since I’ve done a post on the blog, but we celebrate Thankful Thursday every week on Divas With A Purpose.

If you’re a part of the Facebook community, I invite you to jump over our Thankful Thursday event and share what you’re thankful for this week! Head over there and get your gratitude on!

It’s no secret that I struggle with adjusting to Daylight Savings time. I seem to be chasing after that “lost” hours for weeks after the time change. This week as much as I wanted to be cranky and blah – I just could not. There were so many small reminders that kept popping up that made me pause and say “thank you”.

As I plan Divas With A Purpose’s 1st Annual Divas Day Out here in Columbia, South Carolina – I am constantly wowed by the awesome divas that I encounter – near and far. The words of encouragement, stories of triumph and overall attitude of embracing the Divatude in complete strangers! Words cannot even begin to describe how it makes me feel – humbled, motivated, encouraged and thankful!

Gratitude Perspectives

It’s important to celebrate the things we already have rather than concentrating on what we don’t have. You can do this by being grateful for the small things in your life. It may help to keep a gratitude journal where you write down what you are grateful for each day. You can do it at any time of day that suits you, but in the evening or morning usually works well for most people.

Gratitude is a powerful feeling and thought. The more grateful you are, the more likely you are to attract more positive things into your life.
