“Finding HOPE In The Struggle”: A Kiwan N. Fitch Production is a live show comprised of scripted monologues from the “Confessions” Book Series by Kiwan N. Fitch. The series is a platform for women to examine and share their truths. “Finding HOPE” will use a theatrical format to address several social issues that women face daily – the struggles that exist but society often wants to ignore.
It will spotlight the lives of women who currently or at one time in their lives were receiving public assistance, battling depression, sexual assault and abuse, child abuse, homelessness, incarceration, HIV and AIDS, and poverty. Monologue performances will be delivered that will emPOWER, Inspire and Uplift the audience while raising your consciousness about these real and serious social issues that families in our communities are facing on a daily basis. The ultimate purpose is to remind us all that even in the struggle of life there is always hope.
Kiwan N. Fitch is the CEO of The EmPOWERment Corporation, LLC:
I created my company with a simple mission: to equip “women in transition” with the
resources needed for VICTORY! I want them to ACHIEVE success in all areas of their
life: mental wellness, physical wellness, education, parenting and economics. – Kiwan N. Fitch
I look foward to supporting Kiwan and her cast next month! Two Divatude Challenge participants are, also, a part of this production and I cannot wait to share with you all the greatness they put on. If you are in or near Columbia, I encourage you to come out and make sure we connect while you’re there!
