New Year’s Gratitude

Thankful Thursday

Welcome to the first Thankful Thursday of 2014! What better way to start the new year?

New Year's GratitudeThis week I’m thankful for a new year and revived excitement for the many different roles in my life.  My children and I spent time yesterday working on our vision boards for 2014. It was a great activity because it led to us having an open dialogue on our goals and expectations for this year.

Working on vision boards with my kiddos and my 5 year old wants to add pictures of newborns to mine. Obviously he didn’t get the memo.

I’m thankful for the time we spent together and the ideas and aspirations we were able to share.  I cannot wait to finish our boards up this weekend and share them with you all.

I’m thankful for the supporters of Divas With A Purpose – here on the blog and on our various social media networks. Your interaction makes a difference.

How did you celebrate New Year’s 2014?What are you thankful for this week?

Thankful ThursdayEach Thursday on Divas With A Purpose, we pause to reflect on what we’re thankful for. Gratitude is a huge part of my life. A few years ago I made a conscious decision to reflect more on what I had versus what I did not have – since then I’ve seen a considerable positive change in my attitude and demeanor even in stressful situations. I encourage my supporters to take a moment to think about what they have to be thankful for. Feel free to share below in the comments – you never know how you’ll inspire and motivate someone else.

Happy New Year!! I am thankful for my family, for a husband who has dealt with me throughout an emotional pregnancy and to my daughters for being the cute, amazing, creative little characters they are. Looking forward to what 2014 has in store!

I’m so thankful that I’m in a position to help women in business and for the unwavering support of my husband and my hilarious, kind-hearted kids!
