I am re-energized after accomplishing a goal I set for myself.
The achievement motivates me. I have found that the key is setting realistic goals that are you capable of achieving but that will still challenge you. Successfully attaining those goals will leave you confident in your abilities and ready to achieve more.
Accomplishing a goal will rejuvenate your self-confidence. There are times when we may doubt our abilities. I don’t know about you, but small victories give me the courage to go after larger targets. I know I can push myself even harder and I avoid throwing in the towel and giving up.
Even when a victory escapes me, I take the time to reflect on the experience. Whatever I can learn from one situation to help me prepare for similar circumstances in the future will better equip me to be successful. Take the time to reflect on areas of opportunity – What can you improve? What should you do differently? What additional resources do you need?
When others experience positive outcomes, I realize I can have the same results. Let stories of overcoming obstacles encourage, motivate and inspire you.
Take it to heart when someone close to you succeeds. Share their joy and use it as motivation. You have a purpose. You have a reason for existing. Believe that you are in this world to make a difference. Seize every opportunity to achieve success.
Recognize and accept that some goals may take longer to reach than others but believe that you have the determination and dedication to keep pressing forward. You can do this, Diva!

This is so true, using success, whether your own or some one else's, as motivation is a great idea. I love the S.M.A.R.T. concept at looking at goals!

So true. The hardest step sometimes is the first one, sometimes!
