It’s something we’ve heard countless time – breakfast is the most important meal of the day. For school-aged children, this is definitely true. It helps kick them into gear and focus on learning.

With the rising costs of everything (it seems) many families struggle to feed their children.  I’m not just referring to families at our below the poverty line.  The No Kid Hungry® campaign is ending childhood hunger in America by ensuring all children get the healthy food they need on a daily basis.

How?

  • By connecting children with effective nutritional programs
  • By educating and empowering families to stretch their food budget so their children get healthy meals at home
  • By bringing national attention to childhood hunger in America

What can YOU do to make a difference?

No Kid Hungry’s website has many difference suggestions that you can implement depending on the amount of time and effort you are able to put forth.  Check out the suggestions here.

I truly believe in the power of social media – if nothing else, you can lend your reach to help bring awareness and share with others the importance of the No Kid Hungry Campaign:
