This has been a great weekend and I’ve spent some time focusing on my blog and navigating behind the scenes. I participated in the Biannual Blogathon as both a blogger and mini-challenge host. Posting my Blogathon Recap helps me stay accountable and update my to-do list for the remainder of the month.
I didn’t get as much as I wanted checked off my to-do list but I’ve got a great list to focus on for the remainder of this week. My goal is to have everything completed by the end of the month.
I did get a chance to participate in a few mini-challenges and interact with those that participated in the StumbleUpon mini-challenge that I hosted.
Some of the mini-challenges were very informative but I’d already implemented them on my blog, such as: how to make your own blog button, creating an About Me page and getting started with Bloglovin’
I did get to complete the following challenges:
- There is Much Advantage in a Guest Post.. Take Advantage
- 13 Things Your Blog Should Have
- How to Bring Your Blog to Life with Live Events
- Maximizing Your Call-To-Action Button
I didn’t get to these challenges this weekend but have added them to my to-do list:
- Creating a Blogging Notebook (Revised)
- Create a Pinnable Image for Pinterest
Overall, I had a fantastic time this weekend and enjoy the dedicated time working on making my blog better for my readers and supporters. Working alongside a great team of bloggers is both motivating and inspiring – we’re able to bounce ideas off of one another, encourage one another and give constructive feedback to what does and does not work.
Bloggers, did you participate in the Blogathon? If so, what were your thoughts?
Reminder: Most giveaways and reviews are now hosted over at Diva’s POV – please head over there and link up if you’re a fan of our giveaways. We’ve currently got a $25 Amazon or Pay Pal giveaway going on to celebrate our new Facebook fan page. See you over there 🙂
