Blog Life University Conference

Disclosure: I am an Ambassador for Blog Life University Conference in Atlanta, Georgia this July 20-22nd. I will be attending the conference in exchange for sharing about it with my community before, during and after.

I have shared before the importance for me as a professional blogger to attend blogging conferences. My goal is to connect with fellow bloggers, stay informed about new trends and learn as much as I can to provide the best information and resources to my community.

Now that I work from home full-time with my daughter (and youngest son during the summer), I have to be selective about the conferences I attend because of the logistics that go along with me traveling these days. With that being said, when a friend sent me the link to Blog Life University in Atlanta, Georgia I KNEW I had to attend.

The conference is jam-packed with information being presented by fellow bloggers that I have used as a resource for many years. The opportunity to learn and connect face-to-face would be a wise investment of my time and money.

Why Attend Blog Life University

One of the founders of Blog Life University, Melissa Llado (Serendipity and Spice) says it best: “I began this journey of Blog Life University as another venue for bloggers and social media influencers to connect, learn, and prosper with each other.  Besides writing epic content, the BEST thing to do for your blog is to get out from behind the screen and connect in real life!  It’s the relationships that I make when attending conferences that have helped me the most in growing my blog.”

Here’s the thing about blog conferences – it’s not just for bloggers! I highly recommend fellow entrepreneurs to attend. Much of the information shared will help you to build your social media presence and you get to connect one-on-one with hundreds of social media influencers that may be a great fit to collaborate or work with. Topics on eBooks, Pinterest, and stock photography can be applied to so many different areas of your business.

Where and When Is Blog Life University

Blog Life University will be in Atlanta, Georgia this July! The Conference Registration Desk opens at 5 PM on Wednesday, July 20th and sessions begin at 9 AM the following morning. The closing Sweet Spa Party hosted by Dixie Crystal will be Friday, July 22nd from 5 – 8 PM. Living in Columbia, SC (which is only about a 3 hour car ride), I love that everything is over early enough Friday night that I can head home, if I choose, and be there when my little ones wake up Saturday morning.

The host hotel, Doubletree Hilton Hotel Atlanta Marietta, is offering a fantastic rate of only $100/night. You can, also, extend that rate for up to 3 days after the conference if you choose to stay and enjoy all that the city of Atlanta has to offer. As a conference attendee there are discounted tickets to the Georgia Aquarium and there’s a special Zoo Atlanta event being planned.

Will I see you at Blog Life University? I’d love to connect face-to-face!
